Hello and welcome to my website! My name is Brittnee Reed and I am a senior at Holy Family University. I began my education in 2009 at Community College of Philadelphia. In December 2011, I graduated from CCP with an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts, and from there transferred to Holy Family University. Currently, I am studying journalism and plan to graduate in May of 2014. I thoroughly enjoy writing and have been published on both the Holy Family University website and newspaper, Tri-Lite. In addition, I have always had a passion for photography and love taking photos in my spare time.
However, my biggest passion has always been dance. I have been dancing for twenty years, taking classes in many subjects such as ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and modern. For the last six years, I have been working as a dance instructor, teaching children ages 3-16. I choreograph routines in various styles of dance such as ballet, tap, hip-hop, jazz, and acrobatics for numerous recitals throughout each year. In addition, in 2013 I was elected captain of the Holy Family University Dance Team. I couldn’t imagine a life without dance, and I love passing on my knowledge to my students. My ultimate goal is to be able to successfully pursue a career in the field of communications, while also furthering my dance education.
